Son Rompe Pera -Cumbia Punk-

Originally performing alongside their father at local events since they were kids, Son Rompe Pera now find themselves at the forefront of the contemporary international cumbia scene with their sonic explorations of the classic marimba. Their unique blend of sounds comes as the result of a typical youthful rebellion, when as teenagers they left behind their marimba upbringing and began to play in various punk and psychobilly bands. Now they´ve come full circle, incorporating the marimba together with their rock influences, giving it a new twist never before seen. Their live shows are a sweaty mess of dancing fans, and this garage-cumbia-marimba punk band never disappoints on stage.

Ali Gua Gua –Post-Tropical–

Ali Gua Gua AKA DJ Guagüis is a queer musician/artist from Veracruz, Mexico. She mixes Latin music with electronic beats or what she calls "post-tropical". She is singer, songwriter, producer, drummer and guitarist. Two of her best known musical projects are Las Ultrasónicas (one of the first "all-female" garage/punk rock bands and an icon of the national rock scene) as well as the tropical punk band Kumbia Queers (Argentina/Mexico). She has just released a new solo album "Menospausa", a chilango-jarocha party that will make you dance your heart out. A musical canon of Cumbia, Hiphop and electronic music. On the album are also other artists like Mare, Advertencia Lirika, Son Rompe Pera and Miss Bolivia.This new solo project of Ali Gua Gua is a one-woman band, so to speak, where she performs an impressive hybrid set between DJing, live instruments and vocals. In her lyrics she talks about very personal personal topics as well as the realities of queer people in Latin America.

Hector Guerra –Perreo Cósmico–

Bolivian father and Spanish mother, citizen of the world. A visionary between two worlds. He is an exciting mix of urban styles like trap, dancehall and electro, seasoned with roots music like cumbia, Balkan, Andean. By living in three ethnic groups in Mexico –Purepechas, Wirrarikas and Comcaac’s–, he increased his creative and sensitive frequency. His songs are a reflection of what is happening in the world, with a conscious and committed message. A musician with an original project of songs that turn each show into a musical bomb.
