Michael Sebastian:

Michael Sebastian creates Live Dance Music. It has the structure of electronic; the freedom of jazz, and the depth of world.

“an improvisatory joy, a muscular blast of indie-electronics worth filing alongside Bonobo or Bicep” - Clash

A South African in London, Sebastian has a strong presence in the city with recent headline shows at EartH Hackney & Colour Factory, support slots for James Blake and Four Tet at Alexandra Palace, and being named a top 5 global Sofar artist.

Fuelled by the relationship between music and dance, he finds himself at the intersection between club, contemporary and conscious dance spaces.

In his live shows he merges contemporary discipline with transcendental spirituality through jazz improvisation and play, often involving talented collaborators. His objective is to create spaces of collective ecstasy, inspired by his own time on the dancefloor.

Kiskadee:

kiskadee makes emotional electronic music capturing sounds from his surroundings to

transform them into uplifting soundscapes that reflect his own experiences. Inspired by the

nautical nature of his upbringing on the island of Jersey, he started the kiskadee project during lockdown in 2020 by collecting voice notes from friends and family to flip into bittersweet beats.

kiskadee has flourished as one of London’s most promising new talents since the launch of his debut EP, Home, in 2021. He has been featured by the likes of Complex and Clash - the latter describing him as a ‘little known tour de-force’; as well as support from BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music including his own hour-long mix on the station as part of their ‘Lose Yourself with...’ series alongside his long-standing monthly residency on Voices Radio. He has also launched his live show in 2023 including dates in Germany and support slots at various London venues with an upcoming headline performance in May.

The multi-instrumentalist, producer and composer also cut his teeth at Abbey Road and Baltic

Studios, where he was fortunate to work alongside producers such as Andrew Wyatt, Kid

Harpoon and Stint; and artists such as James Bay, Liam Gallagher and MIA. Now based out of his own studio in East London, he’s had his music used as Asahi, Levis, Sony, Nike and Vogue as well as various film/tv and documentary projects.

kiskadee spent 2023 creating his debut album, first traveling to Iceland to immerse himself in

nature and develop the project. A Room for Breathe, released May 2024.
